A short note to some of the people in my life.
Please mind your own business.
And if you can’t sort out your own lives, don’t expect me to do it for you.

Watermelon
I got my hair cut and now posess a fringe, which I’m still not sure if I like or not! I’ve been told I now resemble both Lily Allen and the little girl, Boo, from Monsters Inc.

me?
In crazy shit I find on the internet news, I have come across another wonderful video thanks to ‘The Best Short Films In The World“! It’s about watermelons, so you know it must be good. It’s on Vimeo.com, so once again, I can’t embed it here.

That’s all for now! Maybe something interesting will happen for next time..
Rockumentary
Long time no blog! Well, 2 weeks or so…
So, nothing has actually really happened since I last posted something. I’ve just been doing the usual going to college, doing assignments, hanging out with my friends, working, blah blah blah – all the really boring things in life! My work load is actually really starting to pile up at the moment, so it may be a while again before I post something that’s actually interesting.
But in the mean time, I took my camera to college as promised, but the battery managed to die within an hour of being there! The pictures I did manage to get aren’t anything spectacular, but I’ll post them nonetheless.
Yes, I do go to college at Hogwarts…
The other only big news I have is that the documentary/rockumentary I made for college is now on youtube! It’s about a band called Melophobia, and I made it as my final project for digital video production! Yes, this is what I do while you are all in really boring lectures
Go favourite it, rate it 5 stars and send it to your friends! (hey, I need to pimp out my work somewhere!)
Blizzards, New Lecturers and My Fight With The Ticket Lady…
It was snowing today!! I mean real, fluffy, crunchy, wonderful snow! It was so cool and made me so happy walking home! I wish it snowed like this more often, although I’d prefer if it happened near Christmas instead of the second day of spring. I’m gonna bring my camera to college tomorrow to see if i can get some cool photos of the old campus (that is if it keeps snowing!)
So anyway, I was back at college today, after my wonderfully long break. It was so good seeing everyone again after such a long time, and being back at the college itself made me happy! The only problem is my new lecturers – I don’t think I like them!I know it’s only been one day, but there’s something about them that i didn’t like. The way they described my new modules just made them seem so incredibly boring, especially for computer science, which I loved last semester! Hopefully it was just because it was the first lectures and maybe they’ll get better as time goes by!
**Warning : Start of rant**
I also now really don’t like the ticket lady at the train station! I ended up having an argument with her this morning while trying to buy my monthly ticket, because she firstly couldn’t understand a simple request and then went on to insult me, claiming I didn’t have a basic grasp of the English language! I showed her my old monthly ticket and asked for a replacement for February, to which she replied that she couldn’t replace it because it was out of date since November. I then realised she had misunderstood me and tried to explain that I knew that and I wanted to get the same type of ticket, but for February, to which she replied “but that one went out of date in November, you need a new one”. So after more of this, she finally cops on and goes to print my ticket while saying “I hope you don’t do English in college”. I let this go, but she brought it up again, asking me what I was studying and commenting that surely I’d need a basic grasp of English to do multimedia! At this point I should point out she gave me the wrong change – surely you need a basic grasp of counting to work with dealing with money?
I left it and went to the platform, but then decided to go back to get her name, because she really can’t talk to customers like that. But when I asked her for her name, she asked why. I explained to her that I thought her attitude and what she said was unacceptable and that I’d like to report her behaviour, to which she replied “It’s just a bit of humour”. I took the first comment as ‘a bit of humour’, but when she said it a few more times it really started to annoy me. Why did she think it was ok to insult someone’s intelligence? How did she know I didn’t have some sort of difficulty with languages? So anyway, she tries to explain that perhaps I “don’t have the same level of understanding of English as other people” – which shouldn’t be her business to comment on regardless! The argument continues, I get her name and I leave, because I can see she has some serious attitude problems. My friend then shouts my name from the gate on the platform, because she is one cent short of her fare, and the same women wouldn’t let her get a ticket without it! When my friend gets to the platform, she tells me that the woman started making a personal call in the middle of dealing with her – why does this woman have this job?? She incorrectly counts change, she is rude to customers and she makes personal calls when other customers need to be dealt with! And this isn’t the first time I’ve heard of people having problems with her! It’s people like her that give Irish rail a bad name! I actually forgot her name, but I’m going to ask for it again and I am going to report her. Maybe then she’ll start doing her job better, or someone who’s actually capable of doing the job will get it instead!
/rant over
I was actually really was annoyed about it, which is odd for me!
but on the plus side, I got the other half of my scholarship money today, so I’ll be happy for the next while!
A town called panic!
So I didn’t get to sleep until about 5.30 this morning, but during that time I managed to stumble upon this little gem
It’s a stop-animation series called “A Town Called Panic” which I remember from my school days. Even though it’s in French, I sort of prefer it to the dodgy voices in the English version. Plus I think it was originally made in French anyway!
There’s loads of the English episodes on youtube too, but most seem to be split into two parts, so I just thought I’d post this one.
Happy February!
Welcome to the internet..
I got a blog :O
So it’s 3.35 am on a saturday night and I am in no way tired, so the only logical thing to do is start my own blog!
I suppose I should say thanks to Alan for showing me his blog and giving me the idea to start my own
Hopefully this won’t be too boring. Apparently I’m sometimes fun in real life.
